About Nick

Nick Forrest brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the festival, with over 35 years as a sheep producer and 45 years as a meat, deli, and bakery manager for the Kroger Company. He has held numerous leadership roles in the industry, including President of the American Lamb Board, Director on the Lamb Council of the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI), Chair of the USDA Lamb Checkoff Program, and President of the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association. He also served as a board member of the American Culinary Federation of Cincinnati and the Ohio Sheep and Wool Program.

Nick is currently the Director of the American Lamb Roadshow and works with Four Hills Farm in sales and merchandising, promoting fresh American lamb in ten Whole Foods stores across Ohio. He is perhaps best known for his engaging lamb cooking demonstrations, which he has presented at state sheep association meetings, sheep and wool festivals, and grocery stores across the country.
